Check your language status by going on this page.

If you language is not in the list, you can help by translating GCompris.

First, check there is a Gnome Translation Team for your language.

Then obtain the last translator e-mail if available from the po file. This information can be find in the headers of the po file that you get by cliking on your language in the translation status table

Last, contact them by e-mail and tell them you want to update the GCompris translation. In case you have no response, send a mail to bruno.coudoin at free.fr.

You can use a graphical tool like kbabel or poedit to help you in this task. Note that there are special instructions located in the file README.translators at the top of the project source.

We also need your help to translate the user manual, wiki, web site, and provide voices. To help on these items, you can get more information there.
